Meet Radar: presentation for travellers and the biker community#
Version 0.3, October 2026
๐ก Meet Radar is the social network for people on the road. It helps you meet the people who travel your way: people nearby, travel companions, places and meet-ups, by car and by motorbike. It is free and runs on an ordinary Android phone; the iPhone version is coming soon and there is also Meet Radar on your computer (meetradar-web.web.app).
๐ You choose what to show. Your position is never exact (only the area, about 1 km), you can become invisible or show only your ID. Adults only.
1. The problem#
- You want to go to the seaside, the mountains or a meet-up but have no company, and you don't know who is travelling your way.
- Useful tips (the biker bar, the restaurant on the pass, Sunday's meet-up) are scattered across WhatsApp and Facebook groups.
- At meet-ups and service areas you cross paths with many people who share your passion, but there is no simple way to find each other again.
- Dating apps show too much: position, exact distance, identity.
2. What Meet Radar does today (version 0.3)#

3. Travelling together#

Only the area of the destination is saved (about 5 km), never the exact address.
4. For bikers#
- ๐๏ธ Places for bikers: the bar with motorbike parking, the trattoria on the pass, Sunday's meet-up, shared by people who have been there.
- โ Community confirmations: people passing by confirm the place is good; whoever added it earns reputation.
- ๐ Your ID on your helmet or T-shirt: print your RF-โฆ; whoever reads it at a meet-up looks it up in the app and sees only your profile, never where you are.
- ๐ก At the meet-up: open the radar and see who is around, motorbikes (blue) and cars (green).
- ๐บ๏ธ On the map: meet-ups, fairs, food festivals and parties in the area with their icon, and who is around as a circle on their area, never at the exact point.
- ๐ Take me there: from the place to the route with Robot CoPilot, in one tap.
- ๐งค Large buttons and short words, as in the other apps of the family. The app is used during stops: no intercom needed.

7. Privacy and safety#

8. What Meet Radar is NOT#
- It is not an app to use while driving: radar, trips and chats are checked when stopped.
- It is not a transport service: no paid rides, the app handles no money.
- It never shows exactly where you are and does not let anyone follow a person.
- It is not for minors: at first access you confirm you are at least 18.

10. What we are asking for#
